Overview

AiSensy is a WhatsApp marketing and customer-engagement platform for businesses that want to bring campaigns, lead capture and customer support into the same channel. Its mix of scheduled broadcasts, chatbot automation and human handoff suits teams balancing outreach with incoming conversations. It is a broad WhatsApp toolkit, but conversation credits are a separate cost from subscriptions.

Key features

Broadcasts support multiple messaging categories and can be scheduled up to two months ahead. That scheduling window is useful for teams planning campaigns in advance; retargeting is also included in the Basic plan. Click-to-WhatsApp ads and WhatsApp Forms give businesses ways to bring prospects into conversations and collect information there, while marketing journeys, lead qualification and conversation routing support follow-up.

For customer support, AiSensy offers a drag-and-drop WhatsApp chatbot builder and handoff to a human agent. Its AI agents are described as able to understand context and handle conversations around the clock. Teams can connect services such as Shopify, Razorpay, WooCommerce, WebEngage, Zapier, PayU and LeadSquared. The platform also describes free API integration for automating notifications from CRMs or portals.

WhatsApp conversation credits must be recharged separately from the subscription, and per-message charges vary by recipient country. That makes the subscription price only part of the operating cost for businesses sending messages at scale. AiSensy says unlimited plan limits are governed by fair use, with caps of up to 200 agents, 500 tags, 100 attributes and 50 segments.

Pricing

AiSensy has a free plan and paid plans billed monthly, plus a 14-day trial. The Free Forever plan costs 0.00 USD per free and has fair-use limits of up to 200 agents, 500 tags, 100 attributes and 50 segments. It offers a way to start without a subscription, but those caps matter as a team and its segmentation needs grow.

Basic costs 45.00 USD per month and includes WhatsApp marketing and broadcasting, retargeting and a shared team inbox. It is the entry paid tier for teams that need campaign and inbox basics. Pro costs 99.00 USD per month and adds advanced campaign capabilities, higher segmentation limits and additional automation features, making it a better fit for more involved campaign workflows.

Premium costs 299.00 USD per month and includes higher usage limits, advanced reporting and automation. Unlimited costs 899.00 USD per month and adds higher messaging throughput and expanded limits, though fair-use caps still apply. Enterprise has custom pricing, limits and contracts for organizations needing a tailored arrangement.

Separate builder plans have their own pricing. The WhatsApp AI Agent Builder costs 50.00 USD per month and includes 1,000 AI messages, knowledge-base Q&A, long-term user memory, a no-code builder, tool calling, skills and API integrations. Its annual-billing option is 89.10 USD per year, billed per month, and includes 3,500 AI messages. The Drag & Drop WhatsApp Chatbot Builder costs 80.00 USD per month, or 72.00 USD per year, billed per month with annual billing. Both include five WhatsApp chatbots, flows triggered by keywords, templates, QR codes and Meta ads, cart management, catalog sharing, Shopify integration and three free AI generations. These plans suit teams buying specific automation tools; their stated AI-message and chatbot allowances should be weighed alongside separate WhatsApp conversation credits.

Platforms

AiSensy supports Android, iOS, web and API access. Its website links to Android and iOS apps, giving mobile users a way to access the platform alongside its web and integration options.

Who it's for

AiSensy is best suited to businesses that use WhatsApp for customer acquisition, campaign revenue and support, especially those needing both automated flows and a route to human assistance. Its integrations and API option may suit teams connecting WhatsApp activity with commerce or CRM workflows. It is less compelling for businesses that only need occasional messaging and do not need its broader campaign and automation capabilities, since conversation charges sit outside the subscription.

Pros and cons

Pros: Combines broadcasts, lead capture, chatbot automation and human handoff, so marketing and support can share a WhatsApp channel.
Pros: Campaigns can be scheduled up to two months ahead, helping teams plan outreach rather than send each campaign manually at the last moment.
Pros: The free plan and several paid tiers let businesses start small or choose higher usage limits and more advanced reporting and automation.
Cons: Conversation credits are charged separately, with per-message costs varying by recipient country, so subscription pricing does not capture the full messaging bill.
Cons: The Unlimited plan remains subject to fair-use limits, including caps on agents, tags, attributes and segments.

Alternatives

For another WhatsApp-focused option, Spoki has a freemium model and a Service plan at 39.00 EUR per month with AI customer support, unlimited operators and automations, and ticketing; WhatsApp fees are billed separately by Meta. Consider it if those service features and euro pricing better match your needs.

Dashly is a paid option with a free plan and a listed Dashly AI Inbound Revenue Agents price of 2500.00 USD per month for mid-market teams, with pricing based on traffic volume and active leads. Consider it if that inbound-revenue-agent approach fits your team. Interakt is another option; its Starter plan is Instagram-only, so it is a better fit when Instagram rather than WhatsApp is the priority.

Intercom offers an Essential plan at 19.00 USD per month billed annually per seat, with a Fin AI Agent, Messenger, shared inbox and ticketing. It may suit teams seeking that messenger-and-ticketing mix instead. Engati is an alternative chatbot and live-chat platform.

Greenbubble has a Solo plan at 5.00 USD per month billed annually, with one workspace, one team member, 1,000 contacts, 5,000 messages and one automation flow; consider it if a small, low-cost setup fits. Respond.io starts with a Starter plan at 79.00 USD per month, billed yearly, including five users and 5,000 AI credits, which may fit teams prioritizing that combination. Customers.ai offers a seven-day free trial with up to 500 visitor resolutions and full feature access during the trial.

Verdict

Choose AiSensy if your business needs WhatsApp campaigns, lead capture and a blend of chatbot and human support in one platform. Its breadth and scheduling tools are the main reasons to choose it; separate conversation-credit costs and fair-use limits are the main reasons to compare alternatives before committing.
