Overview

Code completion and chat sit alongside a coding agent, codebase indexing, terminal access and web browsing. That makes Agentforce Vibes a broader coding workspace than a tool focused on suggestions alone: indexing can supply project context, while terminal access and browsing give the agent additional ways to work. The feature mix is promising for developers who want an assistant involved in a workflow, but it does not establish how well it handles any particular codebase or task.

Key features

Developers can use Agentforce Vibes IDE or Visual Studio Code, so adopting the assistant does not require every user to leave an existing editor. Code completion and chat cover direct, interactive help; indexing, terminal access and browsing support a more contextual agent workflow. Scheduled runs extend that workflow to recurring tasks, and human approvals offer a checkpoint. This breadth is most useful to developers who want automation with oversight; those seeking only inline suggestions may be paying for capabilities they do not need.

Pricing

The free Salesforce Foundations plan includes Agentforce Vibes at 0.00 USD per free. It is the clearest starting point for trying the product, though no free-plan usage cap is provided, so it cannot be judged as a long-term fit for a particular workload.

Flex Credits costs 500.00 USD per month for 100,000 credits. It may suit teams or developers who prefer a defined credit allocation, but usage is bounded by that allowance. Flat Fee Access costs 125.00 USD per month, billed monthly, and includes multiple AI models, flat-fee usage and a predictable monthly cost. That structure is the more straightforward choice for users who value a steady bill over a credit pool. The two paid plans use materially different pricing descriptions, so a buyer should match the structure to expected usage rather than assume the lower monthly price means equivalent capacity.

Platforms

Agentforce Vibes is available on web, iOS and Android as well as through its Agentforce Vibes IDE and Visual Studio Code integrations. The mobile and web platforms widen access, while the IDE options are the most directly relevant to day-to-day coding.

Who it's for

Agentforce Vibes is a good fit for developers who want code completion and chat in the same offering as indexing, terminal access, browsing and scheduled agent runs. Human approvals make the automation option more suitable for people who want a review step. It is less compelling for someone who only needs basic completion or who needs a clear, comparable usage ceiling before choosing a paid plan.

Pros and cons

Pros: Supports both its own IDE and Visual Studio Code, avoiding a forced editor switch.
Pros: Combines indexing, terminal access, browsing and scheduled runs with human approvals for a broader, reviewable agent workflow.
Pros: A free Salesforce Foundations plan provides a no-cost entry point.
Cons: Flex Credits and Flat Fee Access have different pricing structures, making direct cost comparison dependent on usage.
Cons: The free plan's usage cap is not defined, limiting its usefulness as a basis for planning ongoing work.

Alternatives

For a different software category, Epicor Kinetic is a paid option spanning web, mobile, Windows and self-hosted platforms, with cloud packages, platform cores, concurrent-user licenses and industry bundles. camos CPQ 365 is also paid, with custom pricing that varies by company size, users and functions, and cloud or on-premise availability.

Configure to WIN has a free tier for up to two users, but its free plan does not allow approval submission or document generation. Vendavo CPQ is another paid option. PROS Configure Price Quote is paid, with pricing available by contacting sales. Cincom CPQ uses quote-based pricing, while Configure One asks buyers to contact the company for pricing. encoway CPQ offers CPQ Studio, CPQ Sales and CPQ Showroom.

Verdict

Choose Agentforce Vibes if you want a coding assistant that combines project context and agent tools with both a dedicated IDE and Visual Studio Code. Its strongest case is breadth: scheduled runs and approvals extend it beyond completion and chat. Look elsewhere if you need a clearly comparable paid usage limit or only want a simpler code-completion tool.
