Overview

Agantty is a project-planning tool built around Gantt charts, with task and team features for small and medium-sized groups. It is most compelling for teams that want timeline planning alongside workload and resource views; its one-project free plan is too constrained for ongoing shared work.

A dashboard gathers to-dos and filters them by project, person or timeframe. Calendar exports connect projects with Google Calendar, Apple iCal, Outlook and other calendars using export links or ICS files. That covers calendar visibility, but not external-data processing through an API: Agantty’s FAQ says it cannot currently do that. Teams also cannot host their own instance, and anyone joining a shared team must register.

Agantty supports English, German and Low German. Its mobile apps for iOS and Android let users view and add tasks and save filter shortlists. The maker says its servers are in Germany, communication is encrypted with 256-bit SSL, passwords are encrypted, backups and database copies are made, and the service has ISO 27001 certification.

Key features

Gantt charts provide the central way to arrange projects, tasks and teams over time. Task dependencies and milestones help show sequencing and key dates, while resource management and a workload view add useful context about assignments and capacity. These are meaningful planning tools for teams coordinating interdependent work, rather than just a list of individual to-dos.

The dashboard’s filters help people focus on tasks by project, user or timeframe. Rights management offers a way to manage access, and email reminders and PDF exports support follow-up and sharing. Calendar export links and ICS files provide a practical route to seeing project schedules in other calendars, though they do not replace an API for teams that need external systems to feed data into Agantty.

Premium adds CSV project imports, project templates from a personal collection or the Community, a task list via email and ticket support. These features make the paid plan more useful for teams with repeatable project structures or existing data to bring in.

Pricing

Agantty uses a freemium model, with a 14-day trial that includes all features. The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free and allows one project, with no teams and no support. That makes it suitable for an individual evaluating the workflow, but not for a team that needs shared projects or multiple active plans.

Premium is priced at 490.00 EUR per month, billed per person. It includes unlimited tasks, projects and teams, plus CSV import, project templates, a task list via mail and ticket support. The per-person billing matters as a team grows, while removing the free plan’s project and team caps makes Premium the relevant option for ongoing collaboration.

Platforms

Agantty is available on the web, Android, iOS, Linux, macOS and Windows. The maker describes the mobile apps as tools for viewing and adding tasks and saving filter shortlists, so mobile access is useful for task updates but not presented as a substitute for the full planning workflow.

Who it's for

Agantty is a fit for small and medium-sized teams that plan projects on timelines and need dependencies, milestones, workload context and calendar exports in one service. It is less suitable for teams that require self-hosting, API-based external data processing, or shared access without requiring every collaborator to register. The maker also says its own web agency uses it to organize agency projects.

Pros and cons

Pros: Gantt planning is complemented by dependencies, milestones, resource management and a workload view, giving teams more planning context than a basic task list.
Pros: Calendar export links and ICS files work with Google Calendar, Apple iCal, Outlook and other calendars.
Pros: Premium removes task, project and team limits and adds CSV import and reusable templates.
Cons: Free allows just one project and no teams, so it cannot support shared project work.
Cons: Every team member must register, which adds a requirement for anyone invited to collaborate.
Cons: There is no API-based external data processing or self-hosting, limiting integration and deployment flexibility.

Verdict

Agantty is best for small and medium-sized teams that want Gantt-based planning with dependencies, workload context and calendar exports. The Free plan is useful for trying an individual project, but shared work requires registration and a paid plan; teams needing APIs or self-hosting should look elsewhere.
