WePay
What it is
WePay provides payments infrastructure for independent software vendors and software platforms that help small businesses get paid. Its flow covers merchant onboarding, payment processing and withdrawals to bank accounts. Platforms can choose Clear, Link or Core integrations; Link supports iframe or custom payment interfaces, hosted onboarding and identity-check interfaces, and tokenization for cards, bank accounts and digital wallets. A custom checkout can let a platform present its own branded experience. The Merchant Center handles onboarding, transactions, reporting, chargebacks and user access. WePay describes flexible payouts and same-day deposits; deposits to a Chase bank account have no additional cost for the platform. It supports most domestic and international cards bearing Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB or Diners Club logos. API access follows application registration, and WePay recommends using its stage environment before production. Merchants generally need an account through a platform partner, since direct integration is not supported. Availability in the U.S. and Canada depends on the partner. Pricing is on request; Link Standard is listed as currently closed beta.
