What it is
Velixa combines online booking, a business diary, payments and a branded website for salons and other service businesses. Clients can book through a shareable link, choose a service and an eligible team member, and manage eligible changes in their account. Merchants can secure bookings with a card through Stripe without charging at the time of booking, then charge the saved card or record cash on appointment day. Online card payments carry a 3% fee, with a minimum of £0.50 per payment; cash payments have no card-processing fee.
The hosted website can show services, prices, appointment durations and a gallery, with online booking connected. Custom-domain support is included, but buying and renewing a domain are separate. A booking widget can be embedded on sites that support the required code. Velixa lists connections to supported Google Calendar, Outlook, Microsoft 365 and iCloud calendars.
