SaliencyLab
Paris, France
What it is
SaliencyLab is a web and API platform for assessing advertising creative before media spend. Its RoastIQ diagnostic scores creative against five measures: Beat the Skip, Get Noticed, Brand Impact, Sell Proposition, and Build Brand. BuyerLens uses synthetic-user scenarios to explore possible buyer resistance; it is not a real consumer panel. The Hugo agent can run diagnostics, explore those interviews, query benchmarks, and show its reasoning in one conversation. Supported inputs are MP4, MOV, JPG, PNG, and WebP, with videos up to 60 seconds; GIF and HEIC are not supported. Listed channels include Instagram Feed, Reels and Stories, TikTok, YouTube Pre-roll and Shorts, Facebook Feed, and Display; TV is not supported. The company describes its KPI scores as modeled diagnostics, not forecasts of sales or in-market success. A free plan allows 10 analyses per month, up to three per day, but excludes BuyerLens and Hugo. Pro costs €99/mo and adds those features, brief generation, MCP access, and report export.

The verdict
SaliencyLab combines creative diagnostics, synthetic-user scenarios, and team review in one platform. Its scores are modeled assessments rather than sales predictions, so users should treat them accordingly.
Who it suits
SaliencyLab suits brand and agency marketers or strategists who want to assess creative before committing media spend. Its synthetic-user interviews may help explore possible buyer resistance, but they are not consumer-panel findings.
