Punchly
What it is
Punchly lets businesses record staff working time, see live activity and produce worked-hours reports. Staff clock in or out with a four-digit PIN or QR badge using a browser-based device. Each workplace has a private kiosk link that can open on a tablet or phone, so no app is required. A live dashboard shows who is working, their location and time on shift. Reports provide timezone-correct totals by employee and location for a day, week, month or custom range. Multiple workplaces can each have their own kiosk and team on shift. Punches from an unexpected network are flagged to help identify possible off-site or buddy clock-ins; optional clock-in photos are visible only to the owning company. Punchly says it uses encryption in transit, hashed passwords and access controls that restrict company data to its owner. After an account closes, it says personal data is deleted or anonymized within 12 months unless law requires longer retention. The service is free during early access, but features may change and interruptions may occur; its terms advise keeping independent backups of required time or payroll records.
