PowerPoint for the web
PowerPoint for the web · Redmond, Washington, USA · founded 1975
What it is
PowerPoint for the web lets you create, edit, save, and share presentations in a browser. It saves your changes as you work, and multiple authors can work on a presentation at the same time. The free Microsoft PowerPoint plan is for one person and includes 5 GB of cloud storage. You can open files stored on OneDrive, SharePoint, or Dropbox, and edit .pptx, .ppsx, and .odp files up to 2 GB. Finished presentations can be downloaded as .pptx, .pdf, .odp, or JPEG images, with one image for each slide. PowerPoint for the web is available on the web, Android, and iOS, with restricted access control and an embeddable player. Its free plan costs nothing. The web editor cannot insert charts or equations; adding video or audio files from your PC requires desktop PowerPoint. Microsoft says it secures data at rest and in transit and lets customers control their data.
