MailParse
What it is
MailParse receives inbound email and converts MIME messages into structured JSON for use in other systems. It can extract message bodies, inline images, attachments, headers, and routing details, including from multipart and nested messages. Parsed results can go to a configured webhook or be retrieved through a REST polling API, which supports filters for sender, date range, subject, and attachment type. Webhook delivery includes exponential-backoff retries and HMAC signature verification. MailParse validates SPF, DKIM, and DMARC, scores spam, and offers per-address rules to reject, quarantine, or pass messages. Users can connect a custom domain by adding an MX record and verifying ownership. Attachments are served through signed download URLs and kept for 72 hours by default, with retention configurable by plan. If a webhook is unavailable, MailParse retries for up to 24 hours; users can replay messages or retrieve them through polling. The Free plan includes 100 emails per month. Pro is $29 a month, and Scale is $99 a month.
