IASystem
Seattle, Washington, United States
What it is
IASystem is a course evaluation system for colleges and universities assessing teaching and learning. It supports online and paper evaluations, with forms that administrators can tailor institution-wide or for colleges and departments. Instructors can add course-specific scaled or open-ended questions. Students can reach evaluations through Canvas, Blackboard and other LMS applications using its LTI tool; a web API supports campus integrations such as links in a student portal. Reports include course and combined summaries, administrative ratings and high/low summaries, survey lists and data exports. Reliability estimates, item-level deciles and regression analyses help institutions interpret and adjust results. The system uses HTTPS, role-based permissions and server-side processing. Reports and extracts omit student names, IDs and login details. Phone and email support is available weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific Time. A one-term pilot license is free. Annual prices range from $1.59 to $1.90 per enrolled student, depending on enrollment category, with a $5,404 one-time setup fee. Paper forms and scanning cost extra based on usage.
