What it is
Google Cloud Data Fusion is a managed cloud service for building and operating data-integration pipelines. Its visual point-and-click interface supports code-free ETL and ELT work that cleans, prepares, blends, transfers, and transforms data. More than 150 preconfigured connectors and transformations are included at no additional cost. Data lineage is tracked at dataset and field level for root-cause and impact analysis. Integrations include Cloud Storage, Managed Service for Apache Spark, BigQuery, and Spanner. Replication can move SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL databases into BigQuery, with Datastream support for change streams. IAM, Private IP, VPC Service Controls, and customer-managed encryption keys are listed security integrations. REST APIs, schedules, triggers, logs, metrics, and dashboards support operations. Built on open-source CDAP, it supports hybrid and multi-cloud pipeline portability. Developer costs $0.35 a month, Basic $1.80, and Enterprise $4.20 under the listed billing terms; execution resources are charged separately.
