WolvenKit
What it is
WolvenKit is a free, open-source modding tool focused on Cyberpunk 2077 and REDengine 4. Its Asset Browser can browse base-game and user-created archives and preview meshes and textures. The RTTI-based File Editor can inspect, change and save REDengine files, handle in-place buffer data, and convert game files to readable JSON and back. Users can browse, extract, modify and repack game files into archives for use in the game. Project Explorer organizes project files and can open source assets such as blend, PSD and XCF files. WolvenKit includes asset import and export tools, Blender one-click imports for shaded Cyberpunk meshes, texture export to TGA, DDS, PNG and JPG, and model export to glTF; FBX is supported through conversion. The download guide lists Windows 10/11 64-bit and Linux, while warning that Linux compatibility is unstable and not guaranteed. The current repository README requires the latest .NET 10.0 runtime and x64 architecture. Stable and nightly builds are distributed through GitHub releases, including portable ZIP archives and an installer option. Nightly builds are produced each night and may carry greater bug risk. A separate WolvenKit 7 project covers The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
