OxyROMon
What it is
oxyROMon is a free, cross-platform command-line tool for organizing and archiving ROM collections. Written in Rust, it checks ROM files against known-good databases for console, computer, and arcade systems using Logiqx DAT files. Its commands cover importing, validating, checking, converting, exporting, and purging files; it can also create M3U playlists for multi-disc games. The tool supports original and lossless formats, while lossy exports leave the lossless files unchanged. Collections can be sorted by region, in 1G1R mode, or both, and arcade sets can be arranged by BIOS, parent, and clone. Settings live in SQLite, with global options and per-system overrides. Console workflows use No-Intro and Redump DATs; arcade workflows use MAME or FBNeo DATs. An optional server provides a GraphQL endpoint and web interface for browsing collections, managing settings, and importing ROMs and DATs. The server defaults to loopback, but its URL import capability can access hosts available to it, so exposing it more broadly calls for caution.
