wiki.gg
What it is
wiki.gg is a free web hosting service for collaboratively edited encyclopedic resources. It accepts gaming, entertainment, open-source, hobby, and other general-interest subjects, and says it hosts more than 800 wikis. The platform uses MediaWiki and installs VisualEditor by default on new wikis. Administrators can request extensions, although some are unavailable because they are unmaintained, incompatible, or raise code-quality or stability concerns.
LIBRARIAN, wiki.gg's fork of Cargo, can store and query template data and is available by request with approval. Wiki-Bot can link wiki pages in Discord, show recent changes, and help track edits. A public Discord server supports editor connections, wiki help, and platform guidance. Applications are reviewed case by case and typically receive a reply in about 5–7 business days. Hosting is free and funded by advertisements. Wikis use wiki.gg subdomains: custom domains are not supported, though URL redirects are allowed. Most wikis require editor accounts, which the platform says makes malicious edits easier to track, revert, and block.
