What it is
Viz CaptureCast is an on-premise network appliance for capturing, composing, streaming and publishing classrooms, meeting rooms and events. It automates recording, live streaming and publishing, including scheduled workflows, and can handle up to six NDI or NDI|HX inputs across concurrent room workflows. Recording and live streaming are described at up to 1080/30p. During lectures, the system captures presentation slides and text for video search and enriched playback. Browser controls and CaptureCast Workflow Wizards configure and manage spaces. Vizrt lists integrations with Kaltura, Panopto and Opencast, streaming to Vimeo and YouTube, and NDI connections to Microsoft Teams and Zoom. Optional CaptureCast Spaces subscriptions support one to three concurrent workflows.
