Traq
What it is
Traq is a free, open-source PHP project manager and issue tracker for developers and teams. It is self-hosted under the GPL-3.0 license and supports unlimited projects, components, and versions. Projects can define their own members, permissions, milestones, settings, and linked tickets. Planning supports agile sprints as well as traditional milestones, with due dates and progress tracking. Role-based permissions can be set globally or per project, including custom groups and ticket permissions. Ticket fields support text, dropdown, checkbox, and date types. Every project includes a Markdown wiki for documentation and shared knowledge. Traq provides a REST API and plugin system, with integrations described for CI/CD pipelines, Git repositories, and other systems. Installation requires PHP 8.3+, MariaDB or MySQL, and Apache mod_rewrite or an equivalent. Version 3.8.4 is listed as the latest stable release; 3.9.0-alpha.1 is a development release not recommended for production.
