What it is
Trainera combines gym memberships, payments, door access, staff, scheduling and a member app. Gyms can set package prices, currencies, billing cycles, access hours and entry limits. Members check in with QR cards, and inactive or expired memberships are blocked automatically. The planner covers classes, small groups, open gym and personal training, with recurring sessions, capacity limits and rosters.
The member app supports bookings, training and nutrition plans, workout and meal logs, progress records and messaging. Gyms can enable AI food scanning and plan drafts for membership packages; trainers review and approve plans. Online member card sales run through the gym’s own Stripe account with a 0% platform fee. Trainera says it imports member, package, expiry, trainer and plan data from exports at no migration fee. Gym Core costs $149 a month plus $49 per trainer a month; White Label is $299 a month plus $35 per trainer a month; and Studio is $339 a month plus $29 per trainer a month. More than 2,000 active members or multiple locations require Enterprise. The app is available in 26 languages.
