TinaCMS
What it is
TinaCMS is an open-source, Git-backed headless CMS for teams that want to add no-code content editing to a website. It stores content as Markdown, MDX, and JSON files managed with Git, rather than in a proprietary database. On React sites, editors can make visual changes and see them in real time. The backend offers a queryable GraphQL content API with filtering, searching, and pagination. Teams can use TinaCloud as a hosted backend or run the backend on their own stack. The maker documents integrations for Astro and Next.js, and also lists Hugo and Jekyll. Editorial Workflow adds branch creation, protected branches, automatic pull requests, and shareable previews on Business and Enterprise plans. The Free plan includes two users and two roles with community support through Discord; paid plan members receive prioritized Discord support. Team is listed at $24 a month, billed $290 billed annually (save $58). Every plan has a 100 MB asset size cap. Tina says its security program follows SOC 2 Framework criteria and includes independent assessments and at least annual penetration testing.
