StaxRip
What it is
StaxRip is a free Windows application for video and audio encoding. It provides a graphical interface for command-line tools and uses AviSynth+ and VapourSynth for video processing. Output can use MKV, MP4, and other FFmpeg-supported containers, with encoders such as x264, x265, XviD, Rav1e, SVT-AV1, NVEnc, QSVEnc, VCEEnc, and FFmpeg. Hardware encoding is available for AMD, Intel, and NVIDIA hardware. Batch jobs can encode, remux, demux, or generate AviSynth and VapourSynth scripts. The application also offers audio extraction, MKV cutting and trimming, and copy or mux operations without re-encoding. PowerShell scripting, macros, customizable commands, and parallel jobs support automation. StaxRip is portable, has no installer, and is distributed under the MIT license. Windows 7 x64 is listed as the minimum, with Windows 10 x64 recommended.
