Speaker Deck
What it is
Speaker Deck is a web service for publishing, embedding, and sharing presentations online. It accepts PDF presentations only. Decks can be shared by link, embedded on websites, or displayed through the service’s oEmbed endpoint; WordPress provides a Speaker Deck block, and iframe or JavaScript embeds are also supported. Sharing to Twitter and Facebook is documented. Free accounts allow 10 uploads per day and 100 total uploads, with files up to 150 MB. Pro provides unlimited uploads and raises the maximum file size to 250 MB. Pro also adds password protection, private URLs, domain restrictions for embeds, scheduled publishing, slide notes, collections, companion video links, resource links, and ad-free viewing. The service lists viewer analytics, custom branding, and password-based access control. Speaker Deck launched in 2012 and identifies designers, developers, educators, founders, marketers, consultants, speakers, scholars, coders, storyboard artists, creatives, and instructors among its audiences.
