FlippingBook
What it is
FlippingBook is paid software that converts PDFs into digital flipbooks for interactive viewing and marketing. It is used for newsletters, ebooks, brochures, catalogs and similar publications. Flipbooks can contain videos, GIFs, images and links, while lead forms collect email addresses, names and phone numbers and can send leads to a CRM through Zapier. Trackable links show when a document was opened, which pages were viewed and which links were clicked. Users can customize backgrounds, color palettes, logos, favicons and publication links. FlippingBook Online starts at $20 a month and has a 14-day trial without a credit card; there is no free plan. The online trial allows PDFs up to 500 MB and 2,000 pages per flipbook. FlippingBook Publisher is separate Windows desktop software with a perpetual license and one year of support and updates included. Connections include Canva, Adobe Express, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Zapier and a public API. Hosted content is stored on AWS, and the company states that data is encrypted.
