What it is
SpamHero Business Email Security is a paid cloud service that filters a domain’s incoming mail and forwards clean messages to the customer’s mail server. Filtering covers spam, viruses, malware, and Microsoft Office macros, with more than 22 million filter rules and tracking for over 100 million senders. A searchable quarantine lets users review and recover held messages. Three redundant mail servers can queue email for up to five days when a customer server is unavailable. SpamHero supports Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, and connects to Microsoft Entra ID through Microsoft Graph API for valid addresses. Mail-server communication can use opportunistic TLS, with described enforcement for senders supporting MTA-STS. The REST API uses HTTP Basic authentication and allows 60 requests per minute per key. Plans start at $5 a month per domain, and a free 30-day trial needs no payment information.
