Private-Mail
What it is
Private-Mail combines encrypted email with cloud file storage and sharing. Email uses end-to-end OpenPGP encryption; the service says encryption keys stay on the user’s device rather than its servers. SecureShare encrypts files locally before upload and decrypts them locally for recipients, while files in the synced folder use AES-256 encryption. Other listed tools include a calendar, tasks, notes, bulk import, search, and email aliases. The listed mailbox storage is 10, with five aliases. Apps are listed for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS, and the service also works in web browsers. Mobile calendar and contact sync is available for iOS and Android, but starts disabled. Business plans include custom domains, with POP3, IMAP, and SMTP support; GroupShare adds shared storage, contacts, and calendar features for teams. Standard Plan costs $8.95 a month, PrivateMail Pro costs $15.95 a month, and Business Pro and Business GroupShare each cost $64.95 a month.
