Orato
What it is
Orato is a mobile app for rehearsing public speaking and presentations aloud, then reviewing AI feedback after a session. It supports practice for presentations, meetings, interviews, pitches, speeches, and impromptu speaking. Feedback covers filler words, pauses, pace, clarity, structure, delivery, and context; the AI coach can also provide notes on voice modulation. Bite-sized lessons address skills such as opening a talk, pausing with intent, handling off-script questions, and closing a pitch. Orato is available on iOS and Android. Its Free plan includes 3 AI practice sessions per month, filler-word detection, pace and timing feedback, a speech topics library, and a Toastmasters speech timer. Premium costs $15 a month and adds unlimited practice sessions and a complete 9-dimension AI feedback suite. Premium subscriptions renew automatically and can be cancelled in device settings, with access continuing through the billing period. Prices are shown in USD and may vary by region. Orato was formerly SpeakUp and states that it is not a medical product.
