Magic Resume
What it is
Magic Resume is a web and self-hosted resume workbench with AI-assisted editing, role targeting, and translation. It can read a resume, look up a target role, and present proposed changes that include reasons; you decide whether to accept or skip each one. The editor provides a live preview, 19 templates, applicant-tracking-system optimization, and job-description matching. Resume translation is designed to preserve tone and structure. Mock interviews use real-time voice, follow up on answers, and produce a report covering depth, job fit, expression, and structure. Resumes can be exported as PDF or JSON, and JSON backups can be loaded again. You can edit local drafts in a browser, then sign in for cloud saving and continuation on another device. The MIT-licensed editor can be self-hosted with Docker. A free plan is available; Pro costs $3.99 a month and Max costs $9.99 a month.
