Komiser
What it is
Komiser is an open-source cloud resource manager for reviewing infrastructure cost, usage, security, and governance. It builds an inventory of cloud assets and can help identify idle or untagged resources. Its dashboard summarizes connected accounts, regions, resource counts, and infrastructure cost. Users can filter resources by cloud account, provider, service, and region, then view them in a pie chart. The cost explorer sorts resources, compares costs from monthly to yearly, and allows resources to be excluded from comparisons. Custom views can trigger cost or usage alerts every hour through Slack or a custom webhook; webhook workflows can connect with tools such as Jira, Linear, and PagerDuty. Komiser lists support for AWS, Azure, GCP, Civo, DigitalOcean, OCI, Linode, Tencent, and Scaleway, as well as Kubernetes and MongoDB Atlas. It supports multiple cloud accounts by default and can detect potential vulnerabilities. Deployment guides cover local and Docker use, with a browser dashboard at localhost:3000. SQLite and PostgreSQL are documented storage options. Komiser has a free cloud option and an on-premises deployment; its GitHub page states the Elastic License 2.0.
