JS7 JobScheduler
What it is
JS7 JobScheduler automates business processes by running jobs and workflows across distributed systems. Workflows can run jobs sequentially or in parallel and use dependencies such as fork/join, cycles, and resource locks. Agents run scripts and other executables, while SSH scheduling is available without agents. The browser-based JOC Cockpit supports inventory management, monitoring, and control, and includes a REST API for scheduling operations. Authentication choices include LDAP, OIDC, local users, certificates, and other identity services; roles and folder permissions govern authorization. Connections can use HTTPS with TLS/SSL certificates, and sensitive job data such as passwords can be held in a Credential Store. The YADE add-on supports managed file transfer over protocols including FTP, FTPS, SFTP, WebDAV, SMB, and HTTPS. An audit log records changes to scheduling objects, and the cockpit can send success and failure notifications by email or command line. The free Open Source License is under GPLv3. High-availability clustering requires a commercial license, whose pricing is available by contacting sales.
