What it is
FontStruct is an online font-building tool for creating typefaces from geometric shapes arranged on a grid. Its web-based FontStructor editor lets users assemble designs called FontStructions. The help materials cover bricks, a tools palette, keyboard shortcuts, interface customization, rotation, flipping, filters, spacing, and kerning; advanced options include Expert Mode, brick stacking, composite bricks, and commands. Finished fonts can be downloaded as TrueType files for use in Mac or Windows applications.
