What it is
Dydra is a cloud-based graph database for connected data, including social networks. It stores information as a property graph, representing relationships among data, and supports SPARQL 1.1 queries and updates. Each repository has a standard SPARQL endpoint; the service also provides a REST API and a Ruby client gem that can be used from the command line. Repositories can import RDFa, RDF/JSON, N-Quads, N-Triples, RDF/XML, TriG and Turtle, and export N-Triples, Turtle and RDF/XML. Dydra says it manages the data store, including versioning, disaster recovery and performance. Example applications include social networking, movie relationships and transaction logs. The free Basic use plan is free. Public evaluation accounts are limited to five queries per second, with repositories expected to stay at or below one million statements. Federation is unavailable on public accounts, and their default graph is fixed to the repository default. Dydra is based in Berlin, Germany.
