DonorScope
What it is
DonorScope is a web-based prospect research platform for nonprofits seeking major gift donors. Users can search for charitable givers with net worth of $1,000,000 or more by ZIP code or radius, then narrow the results with filters. After receiving a custom prospect count, users can buy names and contact information for selected prospects as an immediate download. Record prices vary according to chosen criteria and availability, and buyers pay only for records purchased. Nonprofits can also upload an existing prospect list to check available wealth overlays and purchase appended data. Accepted upload details are first and last name with city, state, and ZIP, or first and last name with email. Appendable fields include net worth, income range, home value, marital status, children, home ownership, length of residence, business ownership, education, occupation, gender, and age range. Appended data can be imported into an existing database. Foundation records are searchable and downloadable free of charge. Training includes tutorials, video instruction, and audio trainers on list compilation, segmentation, data management, and prospect research. The annual subscription is $998 a year; additional record charges may apply.
