What it is
Checksub provides AI-powered subtitles, dubbing, and voice-over through web, API, and extension platforms. It can create automatic subtitles, synchronize script text to video, and translate subtitles into 200 languages. Dubbing replaces the original voice while retaining background audio, and the service says cloned voices can replace voice-over in 30 languages. An online editor lets users revise and regenerate sentences after subtitle or dubbing generation. Exported videos can have burned-in subtitles and animated styles such as karaoke. Translated videos can be published to YouTube, with the Starter plan connecting one channel. Listed integrations include YouTube, Twitch, Google Drive, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and Final Cut Pro. Credit use is one minute per video minute for subtitles, three for dubbing, and five for lip-sync. A free YouTube subtitle downloader and Chrome extension are available. Checksub offers a free plan and trial; paid pricing starts at $12/user/mo (annual). Plans include Junior at $18 per month and Starter at $59 per month, while Enterprise uses custom pricing.
