What it is
Charitable is a self-hosted WordPress plugin for building donation campaigns and managing fundraising. Its visual drag-and-drop campaign builder includes a live preview, and campaign pages, recurring gifts, automated receipts, advanced reporting, and donor records are supported. Donor management can hold profiles, giving history, notes, and editable donation records. The free Charitable Lite plan costs nothing and allows unlimited campaigns and donations. Donations can use Stripe, Square, PayPal, or offline methods; Pro adds ten more payment gateways. Recurring donations start with Plus, while peer-to-peer fundraising starts with Pro. Charitable says it integrates with 5,000+ email marketing, CRM, and payment platforms. It says sensitive information is not stored and data remains in the customer’s WordPress website.
