Budgero
What it is
Budgero is a private budgeting app for planning spending, managing accounts in different currencies, and sharing a browser-based budget. Its zero-based method assigns available money to categories and shows the amount remaining. Accounts may use different currencies while the budget uses a selected currency. Reports include Money Map, spending, wealth, and scenario views. Cloud workspaces support up to five people, each with a separate sign-in and master password. Users can import YNAB data through a connection or move transactions with CSV. Optional bank synchronization is in beta through SimpleFIN in the United States and Canada or Enable Banking in Europe. Budgero says data is encrypted on the device before synchronization, so the service cannot read it. Exports include a full SQLite backup or CSV bundle. The app is open source under AGPL-3.0 and can be self-hosted free, with users managing hosting, updates, backups, security, and uptime. Budgero Cloud costs $4 a month, tax included.
