BenchCanvas
What it is
BenchCanvas is a visual benchmarking tool for digital products. It captures screens along a website’s real navigation path, then places the resulting flow on a canvas for review. Its crawler can collect direct links from a page and is described as working well on most websites; a Chrome extension can also record private flows behind a login. Users can put multiple flows on one canvas to compare URLs side by side, add sticky notes, comment on screens, and place images by dragging, dropping, or pasting. AI tools generate UX analysis and answer questions about screens or journeys. Cursor or Claude can use its MCP integration to read flows, screens, comments, and notes, including an example workflow for gathering open comments into a task list. Teammates or clients can edit a shared canvas link. Exports are available as high-resolution PNG and PDF images. BenchCanvas runs on the web and as a Chrome extension. Its free plan is intended for exploring the service during private beta; Pro and Team are marked Coming soon.
