Alloy Discovery
East Hanover, New Jersey, USA
What it is
Alloy Discovery is an on-premises network discovery and inventory solution for identifying and tracking computers, servers, network devices, and other equipment. Inventory Analyzer versions for Windows, Linux, and Mac collect hardware configuration, operating system, installed software, and network settings in audit snapshots. Direct Network Scan audits local Windows, Linux, and macOS computers without standalone agents on remote systems, while standalone agents support remote, network-folder, portable, offsite, and non-networked audits. Scanning can run on demand or on schedules across network segments, discovering PCs, Chromebooks, servers, and IP-enabled devices. SNMP collects information from printers, scanners, hubs, routers, and other networked equipment. Chromebook audits use Google Directory Audit and the Google Admin API. Software discovery uses platform-specific registry, package, and application data. The product can create topology maps and synchronize snapshots with Alloy Navigator Enterprise.
