Akmatori
What it is
Akmatori is an open-source incident response tool for SRE, platform, and DevOps teams. It turns production alerts into investigations that gather logs, metrics, deployment context, and runbook knowledge, then recommend next actions. It accepts alerts from Alertmanager, PagerDuty, Grafana, Datadog, and Zabbix, and can monitor Slack channels. Agents can work with infrastructure through SSH, Kubernetes, scripts, and API clients; risky proposed actions need approval through the web UI or Slack before execution.
Teams can deploy Akmatori with Docker Compose or Helm, including on-premises with local models for air-gapped environments. It supports OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, OpenRouter, NVIDIA NIM, MiniMax, and OpenAI-compatible endpoints. Cron jobs can run recurring investigations with configured prompts and tool allowlists, then send results to Slack. The maker says incident data remains within the customer’s infrastructure unless an external provider is configured. Akmatori is available free under the Apache License 2.0.
