ACNH Save Editor
What it is
ACNH Save Editor is a free, open-source homebrew app for editing Animal Crossing: New Horizons save data on Nintendo Switch. It can change wallet and bank Bells, Nook Miles, house loans, and pocket items. Players can search an item database of more than 13,000 entries using the Switch keyboard, or browse 22 curated items in an alphabetized, paginated Favorites menu. Pocket tools let users select or clear a slot and save or load up to five loadouts on the SD card. Before a write, the app creates a byte-verified SD-card backup, and ZL can roll back to the latest backup. It recalculates save checksums and hashes after changes, with automatic hash repair. Edits are capped at in-game maximums and apply only to base-game items and values. Version 1.4.0 edits only the primary resident, Villager0; map editing and design-pattern preview are unavailable. It operates offline on-console, but the maker warns that save modification still carries risk. Use requires Atmosphère custom firmware and launching through Title Override or a forwarder.

Who it suits
This is for Animal Crossing: New Horizons players using a Nintendo Switch with Atmosphère custom firmware who want to edit save values or pocket items. It is not suited to multi-resident editing in version 1.4.0.
