What it is
A4DAInsight is a web-based internal audit management system that covers governance, risk-based planning, engagement work, findings and board reporting. It is aligned with the IIA 2024 Global Internal Audit Standards. Before fieldwork, users must attest to independence and conflicts of interest. Workpapers move through review by a preparer, in-charge, manager and CAE, with the preparer and reviewer kept separate. Findings use Condition, Criteria, Cause and Effect, and recommendations can record dispositions such as Risk Accepted. The Quality Assurance & Improvement Program supports internal and external assessments under IIA 1312 and provides alerts as five-year review deadlines approach.
