2short.ai
What it is
2short.ai is a web app that extracts highlights from videos and turns them into short clips for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Reels. Users can paste a YouTube link to start; source videos need captions for processing, and YouTube auto-generates captions for most videos. AI facial tracking keeps active speakers centered, and one-click animated subtitles are available. Editing and cropping tools provide further adjustments, while brand presets support logos and overlays. Exports are offered in vertical, square, and horizontal formats, and the site advertises watermark-free 1080p output. The FAQ lists podcasts, educational videos, commentary, product reviews, and motivational speeches as suitable source types, as well as support for multiple languages. Lite and higher plans include imports from Google Drive and public URLs. Starter costs nothing and includes 30 minutes of AI video analyzing per month, along with viewing and exporting clips already generated. Lite costs $9.90 a month; Pro is $19.90 a month, and Premium is $49.90 a month. Higher tiers list larger analysis allowances and additional export, support, or beta features.
