Keep the final audio and artwork in a clearly named folder, such as ArtistName_SingleName_Final. This prevents you from selecting an earlier draft during a mobile upload.

- Remove accidental silence, clipped peaks, duplicate sections or audible artifacts in the AI editor before exporting.
- Export a single final mix rather than uploading separate stems as different tracks. Keep stems separately only if you need later revisions.
- Open the exported file in Samsung’s file browser and play it from beginning to end. Confirm that the filename identifies the correct version.
- Back up the audio, artwork and notes to a second location before starting the DistroKid form.
Udio is a poor choice for this particular handoff during its stated transition period because audio, video and stem downloads are disabled. Its stem separation may be available, but stem export is currently disabled, so confirm that a downloadable master has returned before relying on it for a DistroKid upload.

Upload The AI Track Through DistroKid
- Open DistroKid in the DistroKid Android app or a mobile browser and start a new upload.
- Select the artist or band profile. The Musician plan supports one artist or band; choose a plan that matches the number of profiles you manage.
- Choose the stores and services you want, then enter the release title and track title exactly as they appear in your artwork and audio filename.
- Upload the final audio file from your Galaxy’s Files picker. Wait for the upload and processing indicators to finish before leaving the page.
- Enter the primary artist, featured artists, songwriter and producer credits accurately. Do not list an AI service as a human performer unless its terms specifically require that credit.
- Set the language and genre that best describe the finished recording. If DistroKid presents AI or synthetic-content questions, answer them truthfully and follow the form’s instructions.
- Select the release date option available on your plan. DistroKid states that scheduled releases depend on the selected plan.
- Review the store destinations, metadata, artwork and audio one more time, then submit the release.
DistroKid also offers automatic royalty splits and collaborator payments. Use those fields only after every collaborator has agreed to the percentages and identities you enter. YouTube Content ID monetization uses DistroKid’s Social Media Pack, so treat it as a separate selection from ordinary store delivery.

For covers, samples, uploaded references and voice models, obtain the needed consent and follow both the AI service’s terms and DistroKid’s submission rules. A distributor delivery does not establish ownership of material you did not have permission to use.

- Save DistroKid’s confirmation email and release details in Samsung Notes.
- Check the release status from the DistroKid app or browser rather than uploading a second copy.
- When stores publish the track, compare the displayed artist name, artwork, credits and audio with your submitted version.
