Define A Sample Before You Generate
A usable sample has a clear role and a deliberate length. Decide whether you need a one-bar drum loop, a two-bar bass phrase, a four-bar melodic hook, a vocal texture, or a transition. Write down the tempo, key or tonal center, mood, sound sources, and ending behavior. If you need the loop to repeat, ask for a clean first and last beat with no crash or reverb tail that would click at the join.

Create The First Loop In Beat Shaper
- Open Beat Shaper in Chrome on your Galaxy phone and start a new beat-making session.
- Set the genre, mood, energy, and syncopation controls to match the sample brief. Generate a short idea rather than a full song.
- Open the piano roll and remove notes that make the loop too busy. Keep the kick, bass, or motif that defines the sample’s role.

Convert A Phrase Into MIDI
Use Klangio Transcription Studio for a played or sung phrase that you want to rebuild with your own sounds. A Free transcription is limited to 20 seconds. Pro lists 50 full transcriptions per month and a 15-minute maximum per transcription, with exports including MIDI, PDF, MusicXML, LilyPond, and Guitar Pro files. Import the MIDI into your sampler or instrument, quantize only where the groove needs correction, and replay the phrase with an original sound.
