- Lay out the sections with labels such as

- Paste your section-labeled words into the lyrics field. Put sound direction in the style or description field rather than inside the lyric lines.
- Describe the musical choices you want in concrete terms. For example: “Intimate solo vocal, warm acoustic guitar and soft piano, slow steady pulse, restrained verse, fuller chorus, reflective mood, clear diction.” Replace these details to fit your song. The supplied product information does not establish support for every genre, language, voice type, or prompt control, so check Suno’s current interface and vendor information for specifics.
- Generate a version and listen for three things: whether the words are sung as written, whether the chorus is easy to follow, and whether the arrangement leaves room for the voice. Treat the first output as a sketch to evaluate rather than a finished composition.
- If a line is unclear or the chorus needs a different lift, revise the words or direction and generate again. Suno supports editing, remixing, extensions, and section replacement; use the relevant edit option when available to focus a change on the part that needs work.
- When a take has a useful melody or arrangement but needs more development, try extending it. Compare the result with the original and keep the version that best serves the lyric’s story.

- For an emotion that feels wrong: name the emotion and delivery plainly, such as “tender and restrained,” instead of stacking vague adjectives.
- For a song that feels too uniform: give the bridge a clear change in perspective or intensity, and describe the contrast you want in the prompt.
