Wing FTP Server
What it is
Wing FTP Server is software for transferring files and administering servers remotely. It supports FTP, FTPS, SFTP, and transfers through a browser-based client. Users can upload or download files, including whole folders, and use an office document editor. Weblinks and upload links let people exchange files without logging in. Administrators can automate actions with Lua scripts, email notifications, or third-party programs, and schedule Lua tasks. User data can be stored in XML, ODBC, or MySQL, with Windows AD and LDAP authentication. Security options include IP rules, password policies, scheduled access, brute-force prevention, and TOTP two-factor authentication for the web client. The maker says the software supports FIPS 140-2 and FIPS 140-3 validated cryptographic modules. FTP transactions can be recorded in a database for analysis and reports. Clustering with the separately named Wing Gateway can distribute connections. The server is offered for Windows, Linux, and Mac OS; FTP Rush mobile apps are available for Android and iOS. The free edition is limited to one domain, 10 accounts, and 10 connections. Standard Edition costs $199 a month.
