WebDAV Navigator
Brisbane, Queensland, Australia
What it is
WebDAV Navigator is an Android and iOS app for accessing and working with files on a personal server or network-attached storage, without requiring cloud storage. It can download files for local use, open them in other installed apps, and let users email or upload changes. Listed formats include Microsoft Office, OpenOffice, PDF, Keynote, Pages, Numbers, RTF, and DICOM. The app can stream video and music from servers supporting partial requests, with AirPlay and Google Chromecast support listed. Folder synchronization works one way and requires server support for infinite-depth queries. A built-in text editor handles files such as .txt, .html, .css, .js, .rb, and .py; a built-in WebDAV server shares local storage with a computer or another WebDAV Nav client. Security options include PIN protection, certificates, HTTPS, and automatic logout when backgrounded. A free plan is listed. WebDAV NavX costs $0.99, paid once, WebDAV Navigator for Android $1.99, paid once, and WebDAV Nav+ for iOS $3.99, paid once.
