VPNIFY
VPNIFY · Hong Kong · founded 2015
What it is
VPNIFY is a VPN app for Android, iOS, and macOS that the maker presents as a way to secure internet connections, bypass censorship, and access geo-restricted content. It lists servers in 22 countries and streaming support. Users can connect with one tap over Wi-Fi or cellular data, without a login or purchase. The free plan has no data limit or speed regulation, but it displays ads delivered through Google AdMob; AdMob’s privacy practices also apply when using the free service. VPNIFY says it does not log IP addresses, browsing history, connection timestamps, DNS queries, traffic content, or individual bandwidth use. It may process aggregated, anonymized performance data to improve the service and troubleshoot issues. Its privacy policy places the service under Hong Kong jurisdiction. VPNIFY advertises around-the-clock technical support and says its average response time is a few hours. Free access and ad-free premium subscriptions are listed, with terms of one week, one month, and 12 months. The maker says the project began in 2015 and that hundreds of servers became available to users starting in 2019.
