Vectorizer
Riga, Latvia
What it is
Vectorizer is a web service that converts raster images into scalable SVG vector images. Users can upload as many as 20 images in one batch and download converted files individually through thumbnails or together in a ZIP archive. No registration or software installation is required, and the service works over the internet, including on mobile phones. Conversion usually takes a few seconds, with timing depending on image size and complexity. The service describes applications in visual design, advertising products, plotters, machine tools, and computer-aided design. It may suit artists digitizing sketches or engineers working with drawings, plans, and technical documents. The plan is free. Uploaded data and generated files are retained for no more than one hour before deletion. The terms permit personal and commercial use but prohibit integrating the service into users’ own or third-party applications. Vectorizer may retain and analyze request metadata to improve the service.
