Unsubscribe for Gmail
Eindhoven, Netherlands
What it is
Unsubscribe for Gmail helps Gmail and Google Workspace users manage mailing lists by unsubscribing, blocking senders, and deleting mailing-list emails. It can scan an inbox so users can select multiple subscriptions for batch unsubscribing. Depending on a list’s method, the add-on either visits an unsubscribe link or sends an empty email to the listed address. Inbox Shield blocks future messages from lists unsubscribed through the product, and automatic cleanup rules are available. The service connects through Google’s API infrastructure, with no technical or manual IMAP setup required. The maker says OAuth2 provides temporary access to selected parts of a Google account, and that the add-on passed a security review before publication. Its privacy policy says it does not store email content on its servers or share user data with third parties. Personal information is processed on Google Cloud Platform servers in the United States. The service currently supports English emails and is limited to Gmail or Google Workspace accounts. It is listed for Android, iOS, web, and extension use. A free plan is available; listed paid plans do not include prices in the supplied details.
