TurboPLM
What it is
TurboPLM is product lifecycle management software for teams building physical products. It manages part masters, multi-level bills of materials, revisions, manufacturing processes, and engineering change control. Parts move through In Work, In Review, Released, and Obsolete states, with released revisions immutable on the server. Change requests and notices handle affected revisions, date or serial-number effectivity, stock dispositions, and printable notices. The system records serial and lot genealogy, as-built versus as-designed reports, service repairs, and as-maintained structures. Teams can assign electronic-signature requirements and separate read and write permissions for parts, documents, changes, projects, and build units. A browser viewer supports STEP, IGES, BREP, STL, glTF, OBJ, and 3MF. TurboPLM is open source under GNU AGPL v3, runs with Docker Compose, and uses PostgreSQL when self-hosted. Hosted Free allows one member and 100 parts; Pro costs $10 a month.
