Soundiron develops virtual instruments and sample libraries for music production and media composition. Its catalog includes deeply sampled instruments and sound effects for songwriters, composers and sound designers. Most products are made for Native Instruments Kontakt, and many require the full retail version; some libraries also come in Decent Sampler and SFZ formats, with supported formats specified on product pages. Kontakt libraries run as virtual instruments in compatible VST, AU, RTAS or AAX host sequencers. The free Rainsong library includes rain field recordings, one-shots, 58 ambience patches and 20 sound-designed FX and ambient presets.
