SmartSVG
What it is
SmartSVG is a web tool for generating SVG artwork from text prompts and converting raster images into SVG files. Text generation offers 23 illustration styles and 22 typography styles. The converter accepts PNG, JPG, WEBP, GIF, BMP, and TIFF files, processes up to eight images at once, and provides a ZIP download. Its editor can change SVG colors, and the site also describes offset outlines and direct SVG-node editing. The converter is intended for logos, icons, illustrations, clipart, and flat art; it is not optimized for photographs or highly detailed realistic images. SmartSVG lists a commercial license on its free and paid plans. The free tier provides 30 credits per week, with AI generation using 10 credits and conversion using five. Paid choices include 150 credits for $7.00 once, Maker at $12.00 per month, Creator at $21.00 per month, and Studio at $79.00 per month. Studio includes shared credits for up to six team members. Uploaded originals are not stored, and SVG history is deleted automatically after six months.
